Setup guide
LG Smart TVs run webOS, a system that supports several IPTV player apps. Once the app is installed from the LG Content Store, you add your Vepix TV subscription from a smartphone or computer, and your TV is ready.
Three apps available on the LG Content Store work with your subscription:
All three apps work the same way: they display a MAC address and a device key, which you use to send your subscription to the TV from the app publisher’s website. They offer a free trial period, then a paid licence per TV, paid directly to the app publisher and not to Vepix TV. The price and trial length are shown on the publisher’s website.
The app displays the TV’s MAC address and a device key on screen, along with the address of the publisher’s website. Take a photo of this screen: it will save you from copying mistakes.
In the email containing your Vepix TV login details, you will find two ways to connect: an M3U link and Xtream Codes details (server address, username and password). When the app offers both, choose Xtream Codes: the programme guide and content categories are loaded automatically. The details are explained in M3U link or Xtream Codes: what’s the difference?
On the TV, exit the app and open it again. Choose the “Vepix TV” playlist: the Live, Movies and Series categories load. Allow one or two minutes the first time.
Check the MAC address entered on the website and your login details, character by character. Then restart the app. Our article M3U or Xtream Codes lists the most common typing errors.
On older versions of webOS, not every app is available. Try another recommended app, or plug a Fire TV Stick into the TV.
Follow our guide IPTV buffering or freezing, then read the FAQ if the problem persists.
