Setup guide

Set up IPTV on PC and Mac

On a computer, you can watch your Vepix TV subscription in a dedicated app or in a video player you may already have. This guide covers both methods, for Windows and Mac.

IPTV on PC and Mac

What you need

  • A Windows 10 or 11 computer, or an up-to-date Mac.
  • A connection of about 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • Your Vepix TV login details, received by email.

On Windows: IPTV Smarters Pro

IPTV Smarters Pro is available for Windows (.exe installer). Only download it from the publisher’s official website: Click here

  1. Download the installer from the official website.
  2. Run it and follow the installation wizard. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, check that the file really comes from the official website before continuing.
  3. Open IPTV Smarters Pro and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
  4. Enter a name (“Vepix TV”), the username, the password and the server address, then confirm.

In the email containing your Vepix TV login details, you will find two ways to connect: an M3U link and Xtream Codes details (server address, username and password). When the app offers both, choose Xtream Codes: the programme guide and content categories are loaded automatically. The details are explained in M3U link or Xtream Codes: what’s the difference?

On Mac or as a fallback: VLC with the M3U link

The free VLC player, available for Windows and Mac from its official website (videolan.org), plays your M3U link directly. It is a simple solution, without a programme guide or categories.

  1. Install Iptv smarters pro through this link  or install VLC from videolan.org.
  2. Open VLC, then the Media menu (Windows) or File menu (Mac), and choose the option to open a network stream.
  3. Paste your M3U link and confirm.
  4. Open the playlist (Ctrl+L on Windows) to choose a programme.

Tips for smooth playback

  • Connect the computer to your router with Ethernet if possible.
  • Close resource-hungry tabs and software (downloads, games, video calls).
  • In VLC, you can increase the network caching in the advanced preferences if the picture hesitates.

Common problems

Connection refused: check your login details (see M3U or Xtream Codes). Picture cutting out: read IPTV buffering or freezing. Other questions: FAQ.
