You can also watch your Vepix TV subscription on a smartphone or tablet, at home or on the go. The apps are the same as on boxes and Apple TV, so you find the same interface everywhere.
What you need
A recent iPhone or iPad, or an up-to-date Android smartphone or tablet.
A Wi-Fi or mobile (4G or 5G) connection.
Your Vepix TV login details, received by email.
Which app should I install?
On Android (Google Play)
IPTV Smarters Pro: live TV, movies and series in one app.
XCIPTV Player: light and fast.
On iPhone and iPad (App Store)
Smarters Player Lite: simple Xtream Codes login.
GSE Smart IPTV: complete, accepts Xtream Codes and M3U.
Step 1: install the app
Open Google Play or the App Store, search for the app’s name, then install it. Then open it and accept the terms of use.
Step 2: add your subscription
In the email containing your Vepix TV login details, you will find two ways to connect: an M3U link and Xtream Codes details (server address, username and password). When the app offers both, choose Xtream Codes: the programme guide and content categories are loaded automatically. The details are explained in M3U link or Xtream Codes: what’s the difference?
Choose the Xtream Codes login (or “Xtream Codes API”).
Enter a name (“Vepix TV”), your username, your password and the server address.
Confirm and wait while the content loads.
Tip: on a smartphone, copy each detail from the email and paste it into the app to avoid typos. Check that no extra space has been copied.
Watching on 4G or 5G
Video uses a lot of data: one hour in HD represents several gigabytes. Check your mobile plan before watching away from Wi-Fi.
Choose SD or HD quality on the go: on a small screen, the difference with 4K is hard to see.
Where coverage is weak, playback may stop: use Wi-Fi when it is available.
Sending the picture to your TV
Some apps let you cast the picture to a TV with AirPlay or Chromecast. If your TV is compatible, this is handy from time to time, but an app installed directly on the TV or on a stick is more stable: see our Fire TV Stick and Apple TV guides.
